Film Studies Ryan Gosling

I’m Rachel, also known as GirlDetective. I graduated from Brandeis University in 2005, where I studied film theory and history with the awesome Tom Doherty, who taught me all about being a badass cinephile.

I have two adorable pet rabbits named Pierrot and LeFou, as well as an adorable husband who happens to share a name with (but is not) a Hollywood director. 

I talked to David Bordwell once for 20 minutes and it was awesome.

In my spare time, I like to polish my Criterions and make jokes on the internet.
